  • Short term memberships and options are available for rowers visiting for a couple of weeks in the summer (see below), or wishing to join individual or multiple rows ( see Visiting rowers tab).
  • Membership fees vary depending on LYC membership; members of LYC receive a discount.
Masters rower program is for experienced rowers over the age of 21 who have completed Learn to Row and developed their skills in the LYC Intermediate Program, and/or have experience rowing at other clubs, to a level that they can row safely and competently in group rows. Members may row at any regularly scheduled morning and evening rows.
Fees:

Non-LYC member: $300 + $45 HST= $345 and includes the $39 RCA and Row NS fees.

Intermediate rower program is for rowers who have completed their Learn to Row at LYC or another club, and who are continuing to develop their skills before moving on to the Masters program. Intermediate rowers will receive extra mentorship and support from Masters rowers and coaches for skill acquisition and safety, and are able to row at designated, supervised practices. Members may row in the Intermediate program for a maximum of two years.
