Row Canada National Beach Sprints Qualifier Regatta:
In August 2021 LYC Rowing hosted the Row Canada National Beach Sprints Qualifier Regatta in partnership with Row Nova Scotia and Row Canada. It was a huge success and big learning curve for Rowing LYC, as we knew very little about beach sprints before becoming involved. The final accolade came when Brienne Miller of North Star Rowing Club, Dartmouth, went on to win her class at the Nationals in Victoria, and then to win the Worlds in Portugal in September.
