LYC's racing program is active, competitive, and a lot of fun. Both seasoned and novice racers compete on Thursday evenings (6:30pm start) and Sunday afternoons (1:30pm start), as well as various regattas and inter-club competitions. Tuesday Night Races are Fun Whitesail races (6:30pm start with social and prizes afterwards in the clubhouse)
If you have any previous sailing experience and would like to get on the water as a crew member, please contact our Rear Commodore - Sam Eisener Come ahead of time, introduce yourself and meet the crews. LYC welcomes visitors! Dinghy Racing takes place Tuesdays at 5 pm. However, this is dependent upon junior sailor availability, so it is best to call ahead if you are planning on coming. |
